Join us for an exciting new Mediterranean restaurant, located right by Little Island, and be a key player in crafting unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests.

Position Summary:

At OfCorsica, the Host is the first and last impression of the guest experience—welcoming each guest with warmth and genuine hospitality rooted in Mediterranean tradition. Hosts manage reservations, seating, and guest flow with poise, creating a seamless and inviting arrival for every visit. This role is key to setting the tone for service and ensuring smooth communication between the front-of-house and management.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival, with a polished and welcoming demeanor

• Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and seating assignments using the designated reservation system

• Maintain the flow of the dining room by balancing guest seating with server sections and kitchen pacing

• Communicate accurate wait times and provide updates to guests courteously

• Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and support reservation requests with professionalism

• Support the flow of service by coordinating closely with servers, bussers, and managers

• Maintain cleanliness and order at the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas

• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive final impression

• Stay informed about menu offerings, events, and programming in the venue to support guest questions and upselling

• Assist with special accommodations and guest needs (e.g., highchairs, accessibility)

• Follow all health and safety regulations and uphold brand standards for presentation and guest care

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a host or customer-facing hospitality role preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Professional appearance and confident, welcoming demeanor

• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

• Basic knowledge of reservation and seating systems (experience with OpenTable or Resy a plus)

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the venue as needed

• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and delivering exceptional guest service
