General Psychiatrist

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time psychiatrist with the rank of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor on the non-tenure Clinician-Educator track. The candidate will join a rich, collaborative environment with other clinicians and scientists in the Feinberg School of Medicine and throughout the University. We are expanding our clinical and teaching services in all areas of inpatient care, outpatient care, and consultation-liaison psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, and integrated medicine.

Qualified candidates will have a strong clinical background with experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental disorders. They will also have board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN). Candidates that are board-eligible or certified in a subspeciality discipline such as Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, etc. will be given special consideration. Successful applicants will also have a commitment to undergraduate and graduate medical education within the department's clinical practice and didactic curriculum. Applicants will also have a desire and expertise to help patients in outpatient as well as all acute care settings and be able/willing to provide care in-person and via telehealth.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $225,000 - $300,000

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
