Occupational TherapistThe Occupational Therapist will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by developing and implementing personalized therapeutic interventions that promote independence and functional ability. This position focuses on assessing patients with a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement rehabilitation plans using evidence-based practices.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institutionValid and current state licensureCurrent CPR certificationPreferred Qualifications:Experience in rehabilitation settingsFamiliarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipmentEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and limitationsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting rehabilitation goalsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomesMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as neededEducate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipmentEnsure timely and accurate documentation and compliance with policiesMaintain positive working relationships with facility staffPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical activities required for patient careAbility to lift, move, and transport patients with or without reasonable accommodationVisual, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient for patient careAll candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
