Welder/Carpenter

Job Description Location: Central Texas (San Marcos / Kyle / surrounding areas) Company: Justus Weld Co We’re looking for a motivated Welder / Welder Helper / Carpenter to join our growing team. We build custom residential and commercial projects including decks, pergolas, handrailing, structural steel, exterior carpentry, roof covers, and custom metal work. This is a hands‑on position for someone who likes building, learning, and working outdoors. Responsibilities Assist with and perform welding, fabrication, and installation Build and install decks, pergolas, handrails, and exterior carpentry Read tape measures and follow drawings/plans Operate hand tools and power tools safely Load/unload materials and keep jobsites clean Work efficiently with crew members to complete projects Take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail Requirements Welding and/or carpentry experience preferred (but willing to train the right person) Must have reliable transportation Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in Texas heat Positive attitude and willingness to learn Show up on time and ready to work Experience with trailers, equipment, framing, fabrication, or construction is a plus Schedule Monday–Friday Typical hours: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM Overtime opportunities available Pay $20–$26/hour depending on experience Growth opportunities for motivated employees Ideal Candidate Someone who thinks ahead, works hard, solves problems, and takes ownership of their work—not someone who needs to be babysat. #J-18808-Ljbffr
