Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy Renal Med-Surg unit. This unit specializes in the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions. The unit manages a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients.
• Manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.
• Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders.

Additional Details: No on-call requirement. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, and strong critical thinking in a high-volume setting. Epic proficiency must be clearly documented. Candidates must meet all requirements to be considered. Holiday coverage is required.
