Save My Life Program Clinical And Administrative AssistantWe are a group of dedicated individuals whose goal is to provide care that is tailored to meet the specific needs of first responders, educators, county, municipal, and administrative workers. Through the Save My Life Program, frontline workers receive comprehensive and extensive testing so they can be at their healthiest when they are serving our communities. By using our program, essential workers and their families can have peace of mind by limiting the occupational risks in their essential positions.Clinical DutiesSterilize and prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments.Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and updating patient records.Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients.Trained to conduct various tests on patients (subject to training on updated protocols).Adhere to rotation schedule instructed by managerFollow equipment protocols and handle all equipment with cautionRequired to learn and conduct any new exams added into the programCollect laboratory specimens, log forms, and prepare specimens to be dispersed by the end of the day for pickupOther duties as assigned.Administrative DutiesTrained to conduct administrative responsibilities upon rotation scheduleGreet patients, answer inquiries, and assist with check-in/check-out processes.Maintain inventory and ensure clinical supplies are stocked.Adhere to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient privacy and confidentialityUses an EMR system for scheduling and other needed tasks, such as billing and uploading of conducted test resultsMaintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for each patient.Other duties as assignedQualificationsActive CCMA certification through an accredited organizationActive BLS CertificationStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivatedDirect and effective communicationExcellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.Adapt to daily environmentStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent time management skills.Strong bedside manner5 Days a Week - Mon-Sat - 07:30-3:30
