This position requires an active or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance to be considered. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

The Security Systems Admin I will provide comprehensive support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electronic Security Systems (ESS). This role involves working with various components, including cabling, security hardware, and software subsystems. The technician will ensure that all security systems are functioning optimally, performing regular inspections, and addressing any issues that arise.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Security Systems Admin I:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Security Systems Admin I Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinates with management, clients, and site personnel to resolve issues, meet requirements, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Performs technical tasks including equipment installation, modification, troubleshooting, integrity testing, and customer support.
• Leads teams in enforcing work standards, managing schedules, and overseeing quality assurance to client specifications.
• Conducts site surveys, analyzes as-built drawings, and evaluates facility configurations, infrastructure, and ESS/Access Control capacity for upgrades and expansion.
• Designs and integrates AMAG and other access control systems, including gates and remote site conversions.
• Executes testing, firmware/software updates, and controller programming for IT, communications, and security systems.
• Prepares survey and trip reports, ensures as-built drawings are updated, and maintains a clean, safe work environment, repairing any incidental damage.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Security Systems Admin I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• AA/AS (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of experience performing Access Control Security System work
• AMAG Installer/Maintainer certification course
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft office suite.
• Must be able to responsibly and independently work and lead in remote locations with no supervision.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
• Requires up to 70% CONUS Travel and could include intervals of consecutive weeks
