Orthopedic Surgeon Glen Burnie MD

We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon with surgical privileges to join our medical practice full time in Glen Burnie and Hyattsville, MD. We are looking for a board‑certified orthopaedic surgeon trained in general orthopedics with surgical privileges at the local hospitals to join an integrated musculoskeletal practice that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work‑related injuries. Additional specialties in the practice include neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, chiropractic/physical therapy, as well as in‑house services such as physical therapy, chiropractic, aquatic therapy, work conditioning, vestibular and cognitive therapy, Functional Capacity Evaluations, electrodiagnostic, interventional pain management and x‑rays. Offices are located in Glen Burnie and Hyattsville, and the physician will cover both locations. Job Duties Quality patient care and management Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury Handle a high number of personal injury patients – timeliness and accuracy of documentation and reports are paramount Perform orthopedic surgery with surgical privileges at surrounding hospitals Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and lead in a way that aligns with company goals Requirements MD/DO from an accredited educational institution Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon) Favorable malpractice history Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification DEA license Schedule Full time Salary $450k‑$520k Benefits Company‑paid malpractice insurance PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision benefits Company‑paid life insurance and long‑term disability insurance Short‑term disability EAP 401(k) retirement plan Paid CME days Monday through Friday work schedule We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon who enjoys being part of a team driven to help others.
