Phlebotomist

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Homestead, FL! This is a 4 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Location: Homestead, FL 33033 Shift Schedule: Tuesday–Friday Monday - Friday with rotational Saturdays Shift: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $19-22/hour (Based on years of experience) Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and specimen collection, including pediatric and geriatric patients Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures Explain procedures clearly and professionally to patients, creating a trusting environment Maintain accurate patient identification, specimen labeling, and documentation Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collections with confidence Complete daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to process excellence Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
