As a Registered Nurse Rehab with Las Palmas Medical Center you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!POSITION SUMMARY:The RN Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family, and other members of the Health Care Team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plans.What Qualifications You Will NeedCurrent RN licensure in Texas or Compact State and BCLS certified.Minimum College: BSN or currently enrolled in a BSN programReads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transfer physician's orders.Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs.ACLS certificationRehab Nursing experience preferredEffective communication skills, both orally and writtenComputer skills neededAbility to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.Strong problem solving skillsLas Palmas Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
