Braze Technician - Aerospace Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled Brazing & Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble fabricated metal parts using torches, induction heating equipment, and soldering irons. Responsibilities Perform standard brazing and soldering on components to assemble fabricated metal parts. Utilize soldering irons, torches, and induction heating equipment daily. Read blueprints and follow detailed, step-by-step work instructions. Prepare materials by sizing, cleaning, buffing, and deburring tubes and parts. Manufacture braze rings and perform quality checks on braze joints for pinholes and incomplete fillets. Use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers (with guidance). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven torch and brazing experience (Required). Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of brazing equipment, tools, and basic measuring instruments. Certifications: Must be able to obtain all applicable company/job certifications upon hire. Mindset: A strong commitment to quality, a team-player attitude, and a willingness to strictly follow safety protocols. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods (6 to 8 hours per shift). Frequent manual dexterity to handle tools, equipment, and materials. Ability to reach, stretch, bend, and lift materials up to approximately 3 feet. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing warehouse setting with moving mechanical parts, varying noise levels, and seasonal temperature fluctuations.
