Registered Nurse - Pediatric Oncology (Weekend Night Shift)

What You'll Do:

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to pediatric oncology patients during weekend night shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM).
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
• Support families through challenging times while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
• Contribute to a nurturing, multidisciplinary environment focused on healing and comfort.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with recent Pediatric Hematology/Oncology expertise.
• BMT experience preferred but not mandatory; candidates with Hem/Oc experience are encouraged to apply.
• Active RN license at the time of submission.
• Certification in BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemo training.
• Proficiency in pediatric patient care, medication administration, and oncology protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and deliver compassionate patient care.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience caring for pediatric BMT patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred).
• Additional certifications in pediatric or oncology specialties.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.
• At least 2+ years of recent pediatric oncology nursing experience.

Other Requirements:

• Must hold an active RN license with verification via NURSYS.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions accepted.
• Must pass a drug screen prior to orientation.

• Willingness to work flexible weekend night hours.
• Ability to travel for licensure or certification reimbursements when applicable.
