Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Day/Evening Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 9:40 AM – 10:10 PM | Monday–Friday variation | Weekend call responsibility included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for GYN, GU, and transplant surgical cases including kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, hysterectomy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ureteroscopy, HOLEP, laparoscopic gynecology, anterior/posterior repair, abdominal hysterectomy, and organ procurements
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical platforms including the Da Vinci Xi robot for urological and gynecological procedures
• Float to other units/areas as needed per facility requirements
• Participate in a 2-week orientation period consisting of 8-hour shifts (6:40 AM – 3:10 PM) for 5 days during the orientation period
• Fulfill weekend call responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License required ; pending Wisconsin RN license with proof of submission accepted
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the applicable specialty
• Experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery required
• Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam (adult and pediatric) with a minimum score of 80%; up to three attempts permitted under compliance guidelines
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with organ procurement procedures
• Familiarity with multiple robotic surgical platforms (GYN and urological)
• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
