Number of Staff when at 26 we call for a C4 and 3 PCTs

Type of staff:

Day Shift - Charge, 4 RNs, and 3 PCT

Night Shift - Charge, 4 RNs, 2 PCT

Patient Ratios 6:1

Type of equipment Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines

EMR Meditech

Typical hiring profile:

Skill Set

Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role:

Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience

BLS

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Medical patients

Some drips such as heparin

Post op radial cardiac cath

Best personality Fit: Hard worker, fun personality, high energy

Patient care experience is a priority
