RN or LPN Short Shifts - 6:30pm-10:30pm

Oakland, Maryland

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN or LPN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Dennett Rehab Center in Oakland, Maryland. As a vital part of our Skilled Nursing team, you will deliver safe, timely, and effective nursing care to residents. Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, timely, and effective nursing care to residents
• Monitor patients' health, administer medications, and provide wound care and other treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Support residents and their families with education, comfort, and reassurance
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
• Follows the plan of care as developed by the RN staff nurse, MDS Coordinator(s), or RN members of the Nursing leadership team
• Observes safety policies and reports any safety concerns
• Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity
• Fulfills the role of charge nurse when assigned
• Supervise and support Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) in the delivery of care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA policies
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff meetings

Requirements:

• Active LPN or RN license in Maryland
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred — new grads welcome!
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a heart for service
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
