Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for a small hospital in Central GA. The ideal candidate will be an RN with a BSN and have at least 2-3 years' experience in a bed management role. The CNO will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 70 FTEs, with 2 direct reports, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. A strong background as a Nursing Manager or Director in a similar environment is highly valued for this position. Candidates for the CNO role at the company should be prepared to lead and manage the nursing staff, develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. A focus on patient safety, quality improvement, and staff development is essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in the hospital's leadership team and must be dedicated to the mission and values of the organization.
