Senior Medical Science Liaison - Cardiovascular Metabolic - Central Pennsylvania

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to engage cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers in Central Pennsylvania. The role involves communicating clinical and scientific data, supporting payers and providers, and advancing the company's cardiovascular metabolic scientific platform.

Responsibilities

• Engage healthcare partners and opinion leaders to communicate clinical and scientific data aligned with organizational goals
• Educate payers, providers, and formulary committees on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in compliance with MSL standards and provide field insights to internal teams
• Implement scientific engagement and opinion leader development plans; support speaker training and Amgen-sponsored research
• Lead or participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies; manage congress activities and mentor colleagues

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, OR Master's degree and 6 years of experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience
• PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO preferred
• 2+ years as a medical science liaison in biotech or pharmaceutical company
• 5+ years of industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs
• Two or more years in clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research
• Cardiometabolic expertise preferred
