Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in Hulbert, OK!
Bristol Hospice Eastern Oklahoma
Bristol Hospice Eastern Oklahoma is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our volunteer team. Our volunteers provide companionship and support to patients and families during their hospice journey.
What You'll Do:
- Offer companionship through friendly visits, reading, sharing stories, or simply being present
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Engage in light activities such as playing music, doing puzzles, or coloring
- Offer respite support so caregivers can take a short break
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Have a heart for service and compassion for those at end of life
- Reliability and commitment to visit patients regularly (schedule is flexible)
- Completion of hospice onboarding and training
- Complete background check and TB screening
