Radiology Technologist

Hourly Wage Estimate: $26.52 - $40.90 / hour This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus! Job Summary Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. Responsibilities Operate x‑ray equipment to create radiographs of designated portions of the body. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x‑ray therapy on patients and explain procedures, addressing concerns. Serve patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings. Perform procedures following established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric. Maintain expert technical and patient‑care skills, and provide quality diagnostic results. Qualifications Completion of an AMA‑approved Radiology Technology training program with current ARRT certification. Maintain current registry through continuing education activities. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, move, lift patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. Prefer 2 years recent acute‑care experience.
