Co‑Lead Teachers needed for our premier preschool in Middleton, MA, working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, including diapering and toilet training. Position Details Employment type: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, year‑round Direct hire with the school Work with children 6 weeks to 5 years old, diapering and toilet training Salary $19.00 - $24.00 per hour, compensation depends on education, credentials, and experience in early childhood education. Open Positions Co‑Lead Pre‑K Teacher: working with children 4‑to‑5‑years‑old Co‑Lead Toddler Teacher: working with children 2‑to‑3‑years‑old Co‑Lead Preschool Teacher: working with children 3‑to‑4‑years‑old Job Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. Plan, create and implement age‑appropriate activities and curriculum. Maintain educational portfolios for each child. Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities. Maintain a clean and organized classroom. Monitor and ensure the well‑being of each child in your care. Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Required: High school diploma. Required: Experience working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old in some capacity (babysitting and nannying acceptable). Preferred: Massachusetts EEC certification, Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, or a completed degree in early childhood education or related field. Preferred: At least 1 year of experience working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old in a licensed early childhood education facility. Must: Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations— for infant and young toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
