This 221-bed facility features seven operating suites equipped to support pediatric surgical procedures across general, neurosurgery, orthopedic, ENT, and GI specialties. The facility operates a 94-bed NICU holding Level IV NICU certification, reflecting its capacity to deliver specialized neonatal and pediatric care. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and staffing necessary to deliver specialized pediatric anesthesia services on an ongoing basis.

San Antonio, Texas offers clinicians on assignment a range of cultural, culinary, and recreational destinations. The city features well-known attractions such as the historic Alamo, the San Antonio River Walk, and the Pearl District, along with theme parks including SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The pediatric anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services for pediatric surgical cases, including neurosurgery, orthopedic, general, and ENT procedures, during day shifts at an inpatient facility in San Antonio, Texas. The clinician will supervise CRNAs while delivering anesthesia care exclusively for pediatric service lines at one facility. Call coverage is negotiable. Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program and ABA board eligibility or certification are required, along with an unrestricted Texas medical license and DEA registration.
