Key Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based bedside nursing care across various units including Medical, Surgical, and Telemetry. Adapt to different clinical environments and patient populations, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record. Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, demonstrating strong clinical judgment. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting. Current New York State RN license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred. Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent teamwork skills. Ability to float within scope of competency and handle varying assignments with professionalism. Requirements Per diem Float Pool RNs provide bedside care across multiple Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units and are expected to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing practice. Assignments may vary daily, and candidates must be comfortable floating within their scope of competency. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting. Current New York State RN license (required at time of submission). Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred. Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
