To learn more about Pearce visit Position Experienced HVAC Technician – servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. The role is regional; candidates must reside in the Sacramento, California area. Core Responsibilities Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or replace components of cooling systems. Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment. Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑out services. Complete daily work reports accurately and timely. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per PEARCE guidelines and insurance requirements. Core Experience & Qualifications Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (required). 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Availability for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion. Willingness to travel extensively within an independent work structure; occasional overnight stays (company pays all travel costs and provides per diem). Must pass a Department of Transportation physical. Must comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA safety standards. Residence in Sacramento, California. Physical/Work Environment Extensive daily travel to remote work sites. Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds. Compensation $30.00‑$38.00 hourly, DOE. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, a company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
