Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), supporting students across K-12 grade levels. This position is located near Emporia, VA and runs from early August 2026 through late May 2027, covering 1 to 3 school sites. SLPA candidates are welcomed and will receive supervision from a licensed SLP through virtual support, ensuring professional growth and guidance throughout the assignment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Active or eligible licensure as an SLP-CCC or SLPA for school settings
• Experience or interest in working with K-12 students, including those with varied communication needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Comfort with working onsite and traveling between multiple campus locations, as needed
• SLPA applicants must be open to remote supervision by an SLP
• Commitment to a full school-year contract (8/3/26 - 5/21/27)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and intervention services to a diverse K-12 caseload
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, and monitor progress
• Maintain clear, thorough documentation compliant with school and state guidelines
• Attend meetings (IEP and staff) as required, contributing valuable insights on student development
