Supervisor II, Quality Assurance (OSD) (3rd shift)

Quality Assurance Supervisor II responsible for overseeing QA operations and leading a team at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role involves ensuring GMP compliance, product quality, regulatory adherence, and staff development while working 3rd shift in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA team through hiring, performance management, coaching, and staff development
- Provide quality support on manufacturing shop floor with emphasis on presence
- Investigate QC holds, quarantines, and rejects; oversee corrective actions
- Review, approve procedures and change requests; release batch records
- Partner with Operations on exception documentation and outstanding compliance issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering
- 2+ years supervising a team in manufacturing production environment
- 2+ years experience in regulated pharmaceutical industry
- Thorough knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations and QA operations
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster inclusive environment
- Availability to work 3rd shift Monday-Friday and alternate weekends
