Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a Level I Trauma facility, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of cath lab experience. Details Acute care setting within a 719-bed Level I Trauma hospital featuring 11 cath labs Preferred case experience includes interventional, structural, and EP procedures Uses Epic EMR Flexible 10-hour day shifts scheduled 4 days a week between 8:00a-8:30p Call requirement of 4-5 shifts per month including 1 weekend per month 10-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 3 years of RN experience required At least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required Experience circulating, monitoring in Mac Lab, and scrubbing preferred BSN not required for this position Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Work in a high-volume, fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment ideal for RNs seeking high demand and advanced clinical experience Candidates who were directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
