MEP SuperintendentMortenson is currently seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with an elevated level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success.This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 and 2, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location.Accepted Locations: Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; Cedar Rapids, IAResponsibilities:Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of workDevelop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent servicePlan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project scheduleReview construction documents for completeness and constructabilityReview and understand contract documentsCoordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepanciesParticipate in the development and management of project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedulesDevelop a site logistics planManage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipmentCollaborate with project partner superintendentsQualifications:Associate or bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or 10 years trade experienceMinimum 8 years of construction experience with two of those years having supervisory experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical ContractorAbility to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex data center projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksBasic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office skills at an intermediate levelPositive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesActive listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedbackKnowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended useCurrent driver's licenseA few benefits offered include:Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramMEP Superintendent I:The base pay range for this role is $111,400 Min - $167,100 MaxMEP Superintendent II:The base pay range for this role is $130,100 Min - $195,200 Max(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
