Pharmaceutical Development Technician I

Pharmaceutical Development Technician I position at Catalent's Kansas City facility supporting oral and specialty drug delivery operations. The role involves equipment setup and teardown, manufacturing support, material testing, and inventory management under senior technician guidance, with emphasis on cGMP compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down, and operate equipment and manufacturing processes under senior technician supervision
• Conduct physical characterization testing on raw materials and in-process samples
• Support sampling, packaging, and inventory management of excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients
• Maintain cGMP compliance, safety procedures, and proper PPE use in work areas
• Maintain current training on equipment, site procedures, and documentation standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-organized with ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk regularly
• GMP experience preferred
• Laboratory documentation and regulatory compliance experience preferred
