Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,816 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Franklin, North Carolina. Job Details Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours (nights) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, but not unstable enough for ICU. Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, detecting changes and enabling intervention. Perform basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays. Initiate corrective action based on monitoring equipment information. Qualifications 1‑2 years recent acute care experience. ACLS, BLS, NIH certification (minimum 1 year). Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds. Good coping skills for stress; able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
