Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time, or part-time on-site role as a School Psychologis t serving a school located in Cincinnati, OH.

The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating and eligibility processes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents), supporting students according to their IEP. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.


Job Details

• 36-38 hours/week (full time)

• Early elementary grades
• Two campuses
• August 2026 through May 2027

Job Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
• Provide consultation and collaborate with school staff
• Support eligibility determinations and diagnostic processes
• Deliver direct mental health and related student services

• Guaranteed weekly hours, including paid time for documentation, planning, and administrative responsibilities
• In-person, school-based position
• Ongoing support from both the school district and the TheraPeds team
• Well-balanced caseloads

• $62 - $78+/hour (approx. $2250-$3000/week+)

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• NASP License (preferred but not required)
• State License and/or School Psychologist and Department of Education (when required)
• 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of Counseling and Psychological Assessment
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
