School Psychologist

Onward Education is partnering with a local school district in Cook County, IL to hire a School Psychologist to support K–12 student services. This is an on-site, contract opportunity for a clinician who enjoys collaborating with school teams to strengthen student outcomes across academics, behavior, and social-emotional learning. Start Date: Aug 5, 2026 End Date: May 28, 2027 Schedule: 7:45 AM–2:55 PM, open to only 2-3 days per week Location: On-Site, 37.5 hours per week School Year: 2026/2027 Responsibilities: Facilitate eligibility meetings and participate in IEP meetings as part of a special education team. Coordinate and lead 504 meetings in alignment with school requirements. Support school-based problem-solving and MTSS meetings through consultation and facilitation. Contribute to evaluation activities by administering and interpreting assigned assessment components when needed. Attend required team meetings (including the weekly Thursday meeting day) and collaborate with school stakeholders. Qualifications: Ability to work on-site in Skokie, Illinois. Experience supporting early elementary students (K–2) in a school setting. Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate special education meetings (eligibility, IEP, and 504).
