Falls Church, Virginia Pay From: $43 per hour

MUST:

• Experienced Radiology Technologist
• 1 plus years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Must be ARRT Certified
• Must have Virginia Radiology Technologist licensure
• Must have an active CPR
• Must be comfortable assisting throughout clinic with other hands-on clinical duties
• Must have experience working with EMR
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

DUTIES:

• Radiology Technologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures
• Triage patients, vitals, enter information into EMR, drug screens
• Experience in injections, IV's and ortho splinting and casting a plus
• Operate DR radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians
• Use image-Gently equipped X-Ray, which reduces the amount of radiation used on children
• Review specific procedure orders to determine materials/supplies that will be needed
• Set up and stocks procedure rooms and trays with needed
• Document patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the physician's review
• Sterilize and package surgical instruments
• Assist with inventory, ordering of supplies and re-stocking of supplies
• Administer medications specifically directed by the physician and performing accurate vital sign measurements and documentation
