Travel RN – ICU / Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
• Perform and assist with procedures including heart catheterizations, cardioversion, and central line management
• Administer and titrate complex medication drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience in a large facility ICU setting
• Driven, organized, and efficient with a positive, engaged attitude
