Start Date: October 29, 2026 (Orientation held every other Thursday)

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekdays with every other weekend required. Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 (RN's choice). Float to ED as needed. No call requirements.

Highlights:

• 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with adult and geriatric population
• Cerner charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Patient diagnoses include observation cases: chest pain rule-out, TIA, chronic anemia, CHF/COPD exacerbations
• Free parking for travelers and supportive team environment
• Travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license accepted for submission, but active license required before start)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required; minimum 1 year in-specialty experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association), and CPI (must be obtained at least 1 week before start)
• Cerner experience required
• MS/Telemetry, Telemetry, and ER Holding experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in IV therapy/phlebotomy: accessing ports, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, and starting IVs
• Experience with heparin protocols and managing cardiac drips (no titration)
• Knowledge of neurological/psychiatric conditions: CVA, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal
• Respiratory management skills: external CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management; ventilated patient care and tracheostomy management preferred
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless medical exemption documented by physician or allergist
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)
