Lot Attendant

The Lot Attendant is a vital employee, they assist customers and personnel in ensuring the customer is taken care of from start to finish. This is a fast-paced position in a busy service environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Devotion to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.

Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects.

Establish personal performance goals that are consistent with company standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.

Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services.

Know and understand the federal, state, and local requirements which govern the company's business.

Follow directions from supervisors.

Understand and follow company rules and procedures.

Maintain honest and accurate time-card keeping.

Work together with department managers to establish and maintain an effective and proficient service department with excellent customer satisfaction.

Be available to aid coworkers as appropriate if they have trouble completing service work.

Adhere to procedures for timely and proficient dealing of warranty items such as correct storage and labeling.

Become familiar and proficient with all phases of the computer software needed for parts and service management, developing, and maintaining the skills required.

Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.

Uphold the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule when required.

Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.

Vacuum interior and wash exterior of vehicles.

Keep vehicles on lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.

Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service or sales consultant.

Maintains building and grounds as needed.

Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license, with clean driving record.

Customer service skills.

Professional personal appearance.

Communication skills.

Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

May need to lift over 45 lbs.
