Overview
OR Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room; Pittsfield, MA, United States. Start date 09/14/2026 for a travel assignment (weeks). Weekly pay range $2,706-$2,805 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift 4x10 Days in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the OR, maintain sterile field, and assist with instrument handling during operative procedures.
- Support the surgeon and anesthesia team; manage counts, surgical sponge/instrument usage, and equipment readiness.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, ensure patient safety, and uphold aseptic techniques throughout.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and transfer to PACU after surgery; support room turnover between cases.
- Communicate clearly with the surgical team; document intraoperative events and equipment usage per policy.
- Verify patient identity, procedure, and site using time-out protocols; escalate safety concerns as needed.

Requirements
- MA RN license in hand (conditional license accepted)
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of OR clinical experience
- On-call required
- COVID-19 vaccine with current booster; no exemptions
- Ability to work in the Operating Room setting
