Caregiver – Sunland Home Care

Join Sunland Home Care! We’re hiring weekend in-home caregivers to make a positive impact on the lives of our senior clients.

We proudly are seeking to serve the West Phoenix, Sun City, Sun City West, Glendale, and surrounding areas!

• Competitive Pay
  • Daytime shifts: start at $18.00/hour
• Weekly Pay with direct deposit

• Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen
• One Year of Caregiving Experience
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Negative TB Screening within the past 12 months

• Companionship (reading, talking, games, crafts)
• Light Housekeeping
• Grooming Assistance (dressing, brushing teeth, shaving)
• Medication Reminders (no administration)
• Transportation (appointments, shopping, outings)
• Documentation of Activities (ability to document shift details electronically)
• Hygiene Support (showers, bed baths, toileting)
• Mobility Assistance (safe transfers, lifting 5–35 pounds, walking)
• Meal Prep & Feeding

• Overnight Shifts

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with transfers safely.

• At-Will Employment : Employment with Sunland Home Care is at-will and may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable law.
• Non-Medical Care : This position provides non-medical support only. Caregivers do not administer medications or perform skilled nursing tasks.
• Health & Safety : Caregivers must follow infection control protocols and any applicable health safety guidelines.

Sunland Home Care complies with all applicable Arizona and federal employment laws , including wage transparency, equal opportunity, and caregiver safety standards. All caregivers must hold or obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass a background check prior to hire. CPR/First Aid certification is required. We follow best practices for infection control, abuse prevention, and client safety.
