We are looking for a talented and passionate Web Developer who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking development team creating enterprise level web base services. This team designs, creates, maintains, and troubleshoots multiple web-based applications that are deployed in both cloud and local on-premise environments. Required Skills: Demonstratable work experience with one or more of the following: o Python o Java o .Net C# o PHP o Node.js o HTML o CSS o JavaScript o Vue.js o React Experience with MariaDB, MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle Experience leading small teams and/or mentoring junior developers Experience deploying services in Linux environments Nginx, Apache Tomcat, and/or IIS experience Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies Good interpersonal skills Strong desire to learn and grow Desired Skills: Experience with AWS (e.g. EC2, ASG, Lambda, etc.) or Azure cloud environments Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, and Python Experience working in an Agile development environment and Git Salary: $97k - $201k depending on experience and contract. Qualifications: Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
