Mobile Instrument Repair Technician
Portland, OR | $35–$40/hr + 10% Commission
Seeking a hands-on technician to perform on-site repair and refurbishment of surgical instruments at hospitals and surgery centers throughout the Portland region. This mobile, van-based role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision repair skills, and customer interaction.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in surgical instrument repair, machining, metal fabrication, tool & die, CNC, or related manufacturing.
- Experience with hand tools, soldering, polishing, grinding, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to travel locally and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
Ideal for candidates with backgrounds in surgical instrument repair, medical device repair, precision machining, or metal fabrication.
