Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented PCB Designer with experience designing high-density multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex circuit boards for wearable devices and medical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer (or similar tools such as OrCAD)

• Design high-speed, RF, and impedance-controlled circuits with length matching and crosstalk mitigation

• Build and maintain component libraries, footprints, and models

• Develop PCB stackups and generate manufacturing files (Gerber, ODB++)

• Perform 3D clearance checks with mechanical enclosures

• Partner with engineering teams and PCB manufacturers to resolve design and manufacturability issues

• Create fabrication, assembly, and design documentation

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB design and layout for multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex boards

• Proficiency in Altium Designer, Altium 365, and/or OrCAD

• Knowledge of IPC board design standards

• Experience with RF and high-speed signal routing

• Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles

• Familiarity with ASME/ANSI documentation standards

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Northridge, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.75 - $54.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
