Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Schedule Options:
• Option 1: 4 × 10-hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
• Option 2: 5 × 8-hour shifts (Monday - Friday)


The Medical Doctor (MD) is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care within a correctional healthcare setting.
This includes conducting physical examinations, managing chronic conditions, and ensuring continuity of care for the inmate population.


Must-Have Qualifications
• MD/DO Degree from an accredited institution
• Active Wisconsin Medical License (Required prior to start)
• Minimum 1-2+ years of clinical physician experience
• Strong knowledge of primary care and chronic disease management
• Ability to work in a correctional healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in correctional healthcare or public health settings
• Strong patient management and documentation skills
• Ability to handle high patient volumes efficiently

Work Environment
• Correctional Facility Medical Unit
• Onsite role in Waupun, WI
• Structured and secure healthcare setting


Additional Requirements
• Must complete physical exams in a timely manner
• Responsible for chronic care visits and follow-ups
• Must comply with all clinical, regulatory, and correctional facility standards
