Position Overview\n
The Dorchester Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Telehealth Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our dynamic team in Evanston, Illinois. This full-time remote position is tailored for professionals passionate about making a significant impact on mental health care through telehealth services. As an LCPC, you will harness your skills to provide high-quality, personalized therapy to our clients, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and lead fulfilling lives.
About the Organization\nAt the Dorchester Counseling Center, we are committed to fostering a healthy community where mental and physical well-being are seamlessly integrated. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our clients by improving access to trustworthy, cost-effective, and tailored mental health services. As one of the fastest-growing behavioral health practice groups in the United States, we pride ourselves on building a supportive environment that emphasizes clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Work Environment\nThis role is fully remote, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while utilizing our comprehensive telehealth platform. Our advanced technology simplifies the process of managing client sessions, notes, and documentation, enabling you to focus primarily on what you do best: providing exceptional care. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team environment where continuous learning and sharing of best practices are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create personalized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address client needs. \n

- Remain proactive in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring a holistic approach to client care and support. \n
- Maintain meticulous clinical records that adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring client confidentiality and data integrity. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on the latest mental health research. \n
Our client base includes individuals seeking support for a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. We aim to provide a welcoming environment where clients feel safe to explore their concerns and work toward their therapy goals. The ability to adapt your therapeutic techniques to suit families, couples, and individuals from various backgrounds is critical for success in this role.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. \n
- An active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Illinois is essential. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is necessary. \n
- \n
- Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred. \n
- Previous experience in a telehealth setting is a plus, though not required. \n
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus. Benefits include access to comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice insurance coverage, and substantial client referrals to ease your caseload. We also provide assistance with billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care rather than administrative tasks.

You will have access to ongoing training sessions, leadership opportunities, and the option to pursue advanced certifications in specialized therapeutic practices. As the organization continues to grow, we encourage internal mobility and the potential to take on management roles within clinical operations.

Our work is challenging yet rewarding, and we are looking for counselors who share our commitment to clinical excellence and compassion. Be part of a team that strives daily to contribute positively to the mental well-being of clients across the nation.
