Radiologic Technologist - Interventional / Surgery

The Essentials: Schedule: Monday - Friday - 20 hours per week| Part-Time Location: Fairlawn, OH - Hospital and Surgery Center Locations 3557 Embassy Pkwy and 3975 Embassy Pkwy | On-Site Specialties: Radiology | Interventional Radiology | Surgery | Special Procedures What youll do: Produce high quality diagnostic imaging during sterile surgical procedures in the surgical suite.Ability to provide equipment set up for all specific protocols.Must be able to communicate appropriately in a highly stressful environment.Maintains a sterile environment during surgical procedures, and maintains patient safety at all times.Produces high quality fluoroscopic images with minimal patient exposure. Following ALARA standards. Ensures that safety devices such as shielding, and fluoroscopic dose are utilized properly during procedures.Maintains proper operation of radiology equipment, and following proper cleaning protocols. Competent with all Radiology Surgical equipment, and appropriate set up. What Were Looking For: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in field or profession preferred; Prior Radiologic Surgical Fluoroscopic experience preferred. License/Certification: Registered technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Licensed in the State of Ohio. BLS required.
