Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Texas

Start Date: August 18, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours guaranteed per week; 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); Every other weekend required; Call responsibilities required

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a full-service acute care hospital emergency department serving a growing community
• Comprehensive case mix including conscious sedation, intubation participation, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care with TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alerts
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
• Float as needed in accordance with facility policy to support patient care across units
• Collaborative team environment dedicated to providing outstanding patient care with a reputation for friendly, patient-centered staff

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum of 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification – required
• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification – preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Meditech experience preferred
