Distribution Analyst

Position Summary The Data Analyst, Operations is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting operational data to support business decisions and drive continuous process improvement. This role partners closely with Operations leaders and the Business Analyst to identify trends, develop actionable insights, measure performance, and optimize operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful recommendations for stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Reporting Collect, validate, and analyze operational data from multiple sources. Develop recurring and ad hoc reports to support operational decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Create dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting processes. Business Support Partner with the Business Analyst to understand business requirements and reporting needs. Support operational projects by providing data analysis and performance measurement. Assist in identifying root causes of operational issues through quantitative analysis. Prepare presentations and summaries of findings for leadership and business partners. Translate analytical findings into practical business recommendations. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality. Analyze workflow performance and recommend process enhancements. Support continuous improvement initiatives by measuring outcomes and tracking results. Assist in developing metrics that align with operational and organizational goals. Data Management Maintain reporting databases, data models, and documentation. Perform data cleansing and validation activities to ensure reliable reporting. Document methodologies, assumptions, and business rules used in analysis. Support efforts to standardize reporting and analytical processes. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, operations analysis, or a related role. Experience working with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis functions. Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Experience supporting operations, supply chain, customer service, or business process functions. Knowledge of Power Query, Power Automate, Python, R, or other analytical tools. Experience with KPI development and performance management reporting. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
