Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Provide high-quality patient care in a 30-bed unit comprising of 22 Acute Care and 8 Neuro Stepdown beds
• Maintain effective patient ratios of 6:1 on Acute Care and 4:1 on Neuro Stepdown
• Utilize Meditech documentation system to maintain accurate patient records
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills in managing equipment such as vital sign machines, high flow oxygen, and advanced drips
• Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures and chest tube placements

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proven experience in Neuro Stepdown and Acute Care settings
• Strong critical thinking skills
