AUTO SERVICE Automotive Service Technician

Service TechnicianThe responsibilities of a Service Technician include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.Family own and operated in Huntington Beach since 1963. We focus on taking care of the customer. We pay for all training associated with automotive repair, including ASE and smog license.Service Technician Compensation and Benefits:Competitive PayFlexible Working HoursHealth InsurancePTO & Sick Leave401(K)Compensation: $ 30.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus production bonus depending on skill levelService Technician Responsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systemsCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is neededProvide estimates of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsService Technician Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience as an auto technicianKnowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenanceFast, eager learner and team playerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skillsComputer skills and willingness to learn new problemsAbility to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentClean driving record & valid driver's licenseDeLillo Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
