Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team to help us support a program for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will possess specialized expertise across multiple systems and software disciplines, with a general knowledge of related fields and application implications. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide in-depth analysis and technical support for systems software products, ensuring seamless integration and user support. You will also assist in planning and conversion for new hardware/software products, maintaining currency and configuring related software products. This position can be located anywhere CONUS.

Your future duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing systems engineering support for A2R implementation by contributing to the design, integration, and validation of asset lifecycle systems and data flows.
• Supporting development and testing of interfaces, asset data processing, and automation components to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Supporting analysis and design of A2R-related systems and integrations.
• Assisting in implementing asset lifecycle interfaces and data flows.
• Assisting in implementing integrations between EBS and external systems (ELMS/DPAS).
• Developing and supporting RICE-FW components (interfaces, conversions, reports).
• Assisting in automation of capitalization and asset accounting processes.
• Performing data validation, reconciliation checks, and integration support across systems.
• Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies as well as interface and processing issues.
• Supporting Development Integration Testing (DIT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Contributing to technical documentation, interface control documents (ICDs), and data mapping artifacts.
• Collaborating with functional teams to align solutions with A2R process requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role include:

• Must possess an active DOD Secret Clearance or be immediately eligible to obtain one.
• Must have eight (8) years of experience in systems engineering or software development.
• Relevant certification required.
• Experience with web applications, XML, XSD, and database technologies.
• Experience with system integrations and data processing workflows.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems executing asset or financial data processing concepts.
• Experience supporting data validation, reconciliation, and system testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required include:

• Exposure to Oracle Projects, Fixed Assets, or Inventory modules.
• Familiarity with asset lifecycle processes (A2R, CIP/WIP).
• Experience with BI/reporting tools for asset analytics.
• Basic understanding of audit readiness, valuation, and completeness controls.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $156,700.00.
