Research Scientist

Job Title: Research Scientist (Mammalian Cell Culture Expert) Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension) TOP SKILLS PER MANAGER: Strong experience in Mammalian cell culture is required. Post-degree wet lab experience in industry, expertise in cellular and molecular biology is essential (cell culture, cell-based assay, qPCR), Experience with in vivo methodologies; strong oral and written communication skills Experience with in vitro biology techniques is essential. Hands-on experience performing PCR and qPCR assays is required. Previous animal handling experience is desired. Familiarity with RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) workflows is preferred. Experience with RNA-seq library preparation is highly desirable. In-vivo experience is required. Qualifications: PhD with 1+ year Industry experience in cell or molecular biology (or a related field) - experience must be post-degree experience preferably in drug discovery and in an industry setting Expertise in cellular and molecular biology is essential (e.g., mammalian cell culture; cell-based assays; qPCR) Experience with RNA-seq, library preparation and immunoprecipitation-based workflow are desired Proficiency in animal handling, dosing, and necropsy is desired.
