Family Pride of Northeast Ohio is a thriving behavioral health agency that provides a variety of counseling and support services throughout northeast Ohio. Our clients span from early childhood through senior adults. Our services are provided in clients’ homes, schools, work, throughout the community, virtually, and at our office locations in Chardon and Ashtabula. Family Pride of Northeast Ohio, Inc is currently looking for Clinical Therapists to help with our ever growing agency -providing services in Geauga, Lake, and Ashtabula counties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists client with any questions related to orientation, including rights, consents, confidentiality, rules for participation, and contact information. Conduct a comprehensive diagnostic assessment with client and family members to identify client’s mental health and/or AOD needs and overall strengths. Develop and implement treatment and prevention programs that the clients and family members can interpret and comply with. Develop a specific treatment plan or strategy that reflects the therapeutic intervention that addresses the needs of persons served. Evaluate client and treatment progress for improvement of strategies and techniques. Operate under all appropriate organization’s rules and regulations and maintain records of the clients in a timely manner. Collaborate with community representatives and/or family members on behalf of the client’s needs. Utilizing supervision to maintain a well-balanced caseload and to develop performance-improvement strategies. Complete timely documentation in compliance with agency standards. Meets Agency productivity standards Required education, experience, and training Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited college or institution Licensed as a clinical counselor or social worker (LSW, LISW/LPC, LPCC) Possess good communication skills, Ability to work with a diverse population and needs effectively Effectively interpret and understand clients and identify a unique approach to treatment. Must have the ability to maintain and respect confidentiality.
